At RAFES Cichlids, the health and safety of our fish is our top priority.

Live Arrival Guarantee (DOA Policy)

We offer store credit for fish that arrive deceased (DOA) under the following conditions:

  • Any DOA claim must be reported within 1 hour of the delivery time shown by the carrier.
  • A clear unboxing video and video proof of the deceased fish in the unopened shipping bag must be provided.
  • Claims submitted after 1 hour of delivery will not be accepted.

No Refunds

  • All live fish sales are final.
  • We do not offer refunds on live animals.
  • We do not offer exchanges on live animals.

Store Credit Only

Approved DOA claims will receive store credit only. No cash refunds will be issued.

Important

  • The Live Arrival Guarantee is void once the fish has been removed from the shipping bag or introduced into any aquarium, tank, bucket, or other water source.
  • We are not responsible for losses due to improper acclimation, water quality issues, aggression from tank mates, or other conditions after delivery.
